Amazon Web Services

My current role today is in the AWS Partner Organization; below is an overview of my day-to-day and some of my latest accomplishments.

Partner Capability Manager

September 2022 - Present

 
  • Development and execution of global, scaled, and channel-centric training strategy in alignment with global business development’s go-to-market strategies, and cross functionally across Partner Development, Investment & Incentive, APN Support, Global Channel Program and Business Development Leads, Funding, Enablement, and Marketing

  • Program management of the resale partner and Distributor end-to-end learning experience, including driving the adoption of initiatives regarding program changes, system updates, asset localization and maintenance, and partner onboarding and ongoing enablement

  • Defined resale partner learning and content strategy, incl. the first minimum viable partner path comprising of 4 stages, 18 categories, and 55 curriculum topics

  • Spearheaded the first audit of 501 external partner assets for channel programs; 22% of assets were deprecated and 74% were updated

  • Launched the first centralized training catalog that summarizes all resale assets, which external folder(s) they live in, and their direct link(s)

  • Managed, developed, and designed content for a global 2-day on-site in ASEAN for resale partners; CSAT re: content quality was 4.7/5 (40 partners)

  • Measured partner and asset performance, including time to first sale, opportunity creation and conversion, asset engagement, and YoY growth

I’ve worked on Oracle’s Business Development and Account Management teams, and NetSuite’s Consulting Enablement team. My latest role on this team was in Partner Enablement. See below for a comprehensive overview of my responsibilities and achievements in each role.

SuiteLife Program Enablement Manager, NetSuite GBU

April 2021 - September 2022

 
  • Implementation Instructor for week long global training program designed for Partners in a demo and/or delivery role

  • Taught 19 classes to date of NOAM & LAD NetSuite Partners through a week-long training to ensure they’re able to demonstrate and implement NetSuite successfully, and achieved an average Instructor rating score of a 4.9 out of 5

  • Led strategy development of training program learning objectives, asset creation, and operationalized processes

  • Revamped global training program across 4 global regions in 3 different languages, resulting in 22 content topic adjustments, 18 rebranded PowerPoints, 15 updated logistic files, a renovated homework site, 3 new Partner facing tools, and a Train the Trainer guide and seminar to global instructor team. Average class experience across all 4 regions (EMEA, JAPAC, NOAM, LAD): 4.8 out of 5

  • Managed Partner implementation content globally and works alongside NetSuite Solutioning team to ensure assets are compliant and applicable, resulting in a formalized process to review materials quarterly and ensure change visibility across the team; and I created and presented a session about bundle deployment best practices to 398 partners and internal consultants combined

  • Created first global onboarding guide for Instructors, which is used by 40+ team members, and has already been used as a template for future program guides and marketing collateral 

  • Scoped and produced 1 new learning path for BPO partners, and 2 new eLearning courses for all SuiteLife Partners

  • Launched 2 initiatives to strengthen team collaboration, visibility, and knowledge about roles, by creating a recurring Slack reminder for team shout-outs and dedicated global content cadences 

Enablement Lead, NetSuite GBU Consulting Practice

Dec 2018 - April 2021 (2 year 5 mos)

  • Enabled 6 classes of NetSuite ERP Education and Functional Consultants through a 4-month onboarding program to become client facing ready for implementations

  • Managed, scoped, and produced over 19 new trainings for global consulting initiative measuring ramp to consulting productivity, resulting in 404% increase in M1 and 332% increase in M2. Includes online learning courses, PPTs, and QRGs. Narrated a 30-minute course that I developed covering how to Forecast and enter Time in OpenAir.

  • Spearheaded and launched a communication team in consulting dept, resulting in the first global communication plan, 17+ new marketing assets, 13+ promotional recruiting videos, 9 new hire engagement sessions called SuiteFridays, and a recurring culture newsletter highlighting employee recognition and hub successes

  • Developed and launched the first global onboarding playbook for Enablement Leads on Confluence, which is used by 70+ Enablement team members and is being modeled across the consulting practice

  • Presented to and evaluated 70+ candidates at 4 all day interview events, both virtually and on-site

  • Launched first local culture board as the first customer success employee in this location, and organized over 24 office events, both on-site and virtual

    Achievements:

  • Onboarded my first class of ERP Consultants 2 weeks after my start date and it was the inaugural class in that location

  • Designed and developed first physical Learner's Guide for global training use which had guided learning points to help trainees take notes effectively

  • Program rep at virtual career fair and presented a live info session to over 150 participants

  • Developed standardized scheduling protocol as Calendar Lead, where I managed the schedule logistics for 3 classes across 4 time zones and 4+ tracks simultaneously while onboarding 2 classes

  • Developed and maintained relationships with IT professionals from 160 accounts with over $500 million in revenue

  • Crafted go-to-market messaging for 10 database and middleware on-premises and cloud products to increase awareness and drive sales

  • Exceeded metrics; achieved 150% quota attainment for Q2-Q3FY17 and 862% Q4FY17

  • Awarded “Gold Standard Recipient” in Q3 FY17, “National Team Lead” in Q4FY17, and “Team MVP” in Q4FY18

Facilitator and Marketing Mentor, Orfalea College of Business

Sep 2015 - Jun 2016 (10 mos)

  • Taught and mentored marketing curriculum to 280+ undergraduates in Introduction to Marketing for 3 quarters while being a full-time student

  • Coached 16 teams (~80 students) in 3 quarters to compete in product pitch competition; 4 of my teams made it to the finale in which 310 students have to compete to qualify

  • Designed official Marketing Mentor polo shirts for our faculty team, which I’m wearing in the shown photo.

  • Nominated by Cal Poly faculty to be a representative for the Next Experts program. 7 students out of the Orfalea College of Business student body were chosen in total.

  • Next Experts are selected by leading business schools to participate in an exclusive collaborative network as the next generation of entrepreneurs. TrustedPeer’s Next Expert program represents a democratization of business knowledge across generations.

  • Hired by Philip Bouchard, CEO of TrustedPeer, to create a promotional video of TrustedPeer. Worked alongside Executive Producer, Brian Morris, and 12-time Emmy Award Winner, Jon Dann, as Line Producer. Check out the video here!

  • Signed an annual contract for over $10,000 with my first client within two weeks of my start date as an Account Executive

  • Delivered sales pitches for advertising packages to clientele
